With the ever-increasing popularity of Serial ATA devices, the presence of SATA power cables is standard on new sources. But we can't find Serial ATA power cables with older power supplies, which can still be high quality and high performance.

A cheap solution, as opposed to buying a new power supply, is to invest in a power reduction and further use of a quality older power supply. This reduction allows powering one SATA device from the classic MOLEX connector, previously so widely used to power optical drives and hard drives. The length of the reduction is about 15 cm.
