The Wi-Fi LED bulb Sonoff B05 turns every luminaire and every lamp into smart lighting. It just screws into the existing socket and you can control it remotely via the Internet.

It uses the Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud environment for secure Internet connection and control via the connected eWeLink application from a mobile phone (Android and iPhone) from anywhere in the world. The eWeLink application and services related to the operation of the device are provided free of charge.

Use and pair with eWeLink

As might be expected, this bulb does not require any complicated installation. It is just screwed into the socket (socket E27), like a standard light bulb. To control via WiFi, you need to pair it with the eWeLink application.

Pairing to the eWeLink application is performed via Bluetooth - the first time you connect to the mains, the light bulb is in Bluetooth pairing mode for the first 3 minutes, which signals "breathing" (gradual amplification and dimming of light intensity). In the eWeLink application, select the "Bluetooth" pairing method. The application will guide you through the process after entering the WiFi parameters.

For possible further switching into the pairing mode, we turn on the light bulb and then turn it off 3 times and turn it on 3 times for about 1 s. The light bulb starts "breathing" and thus signals that it is in the mode Bluetooth pairing methods.
