"With Hole" Router: Asus Blue Cave
The ASUS Blue Cave router is designed to impress and be seen. With a "hole" device, it supports very high data rates (800 + 1734 Mbps) and offers very wide coverage thanks to the four antennas hidden in its body. It is thus designed for larger apartments and houses.
The transmission speed of the supported Wi-Fi standards 802.11a/b/g/n/ac reaches up to 800 Mbps in network mode, and up to 1734 Mbps in "ac" mode. The device can use the 2.4 and 5 GHz band for transmitting and receiving the signal, the router works with MIMO technology.
Like a number of competing routers, Asus does not stand aside for increased security. Supports WPA2-PSK, WPA-PSK, WPA-Enterprise, WPA2-Enterprise, and WPS (for one-click fast, secure connection). To further increase the level of protection against intruders, the router has its own firewall (SPI detection and DoS protection). If you have smaller children at home to prevent access to selected sites, you can use parental controls, filter providers, URLs and ports. Asus generally calls security technology on this router as AiProtection, which aims to protect all connected devices, including the Internet of Things.
Works with Amazon Alexa and IFTTT
The router can be used together with the IFTTT (If This Then That) system, ie technology that takes a certain step based on what has happened. Automated tasks can be created based on certain knowledge and skills. IFTTT is a free web service that people use to create strings of simple conditional commands, called applets. The applet is triggered by changes that happen to other web services, such as Gmail, Facebook, Instagram, or Pinterest. For example, the applet might send an email message if someone tagged a user in the photo. So Blue Cave can be integrated into a smart home system to make your daily life easier.
Notifications on your mobile
Control your device via your mobile phone or tablet. The paired mobile screen then displays a variety of alerts, network activity, security alerts, and other similar events. With advanced parental controls, you can monitor the use of the Internet in your family and set the specific type of content you want to block, or set a time period for Internet access.
WiFi coverage is influenced by factors such as the layout of the rooms, the building materials used and even the layout of the furniture, so there may be a weak WiFi signal in some parts of the house. AiMesh is an innovative router that can connect multiple ASUS routers together to create a WiFi network for your entire home. It is a powerful and flexible way to solve problems with weak WiFi signal while using existing hardware.
