Would you like to control your wired thermostat from anywhere? Then simply replace your wired thermostat with a smart thermostat from tado°. It will save you energy and increase your comfort at the same time. The package also includes 5 tado° thermostatic heads.
tado° smart wired thermostat
You need the basic set of a wired smart thermostat if you already have a wired thermostat at home and want to replace it. The smart thermostat is connected via a cable to the boiler and to the outside world via the Bridge internet interface. This allows you to control your heating system remotely from anywhere using the tado° mobile app.
tado° thermostatic heads
The head is compatible with almost all thermostatic radiator valves (TRV = Thermostatic Radiator Valves) and can be mounted vertically or horizontally. The smart thermostatic head is connected wirelessly with the Bridge internet interface. This allows you to control your heating system remotely from anywhere using the tado° mobile app. You can also control the thermostatic head manually using the rotary knob. It goes without saying that manual control can be deactivated in the application (child lock).

Compatibility

Geofencing
Using the function of tracking the location of your mobile phone (Geofencing), tado° will remind you to turn down the heating when the last person leaves the house and turn it on in time before the first one arrives. Geofencing together with an advanced temperature control algorithm can save up to 31% of heating costs.
You can add up to 25 devices and up to 100 users to tado° Home. The basic set can be easily expanded with other tado° elements for individual room control, e.g. for underfloor heating:
How does it work?
In the tado° mobile application, you increase or decrease the temperature. The Internet interface (Bridge), which is connected to the Internet via a router, transmits this information wirelessly to your smart thermostatic head.
Integration into Smart home systems
tado° can be easily integrated into your smart home. You can control it with Apple HomeKit. Use Siri, Google Assistant or Amazon Echo to control the heating with voice commands and create applets using IFTTT to connect tado° with other apps and smart devices. tado° can also be integrated into the eNet Smart Home system.
